Care Tips

There are no gardening mistakes, only experiments

1) Water only when needed

Too much water will kill your plant. Too little water will desiccate roots. Water whenever the soil feels dry on touch.

2) Humidity

Plants prefer moisture in the air. Higher the temperature, the higher the humidity the plants require.

3) Positioning of the plant at home

Green leaves like more shade, and can be placed in darker positions. Plants grow towards the light so it is advisable to turn their pots regularly for balanced growth.

4) Regular sponging

Regular sponging can be done with a soft damp cloth or with a soft brush for plants to look healthier

5) Plant placement – Sunlight to shade and vice versa.

Depending on the type of plant it can be kept outside once a week or fortnightly. Plants can be placed in the balcony for 2-3 days for more air and light.

6) When to repot

If you see a plant out growing its pot, please re-pot to a bigger pot size.

7) Tidying

Tidying is very important for new growth. Finished blooms and dried up leaves can be trimmed off, right next to the plant stem.

Note : In case of succulents, water it sparingly (using mist/spray) or directly near the stem. Water only when soil appears very dry. Succulents adapt well to any type of light conditions. Indirect bright light helps some succulents form its true vibrant colors
